Meet our Winner, Claire Kotwicki
Full Description:
" The essay contest has come to an end, but not before we came together as a community to show support for our kids, their dreams and aspirations. We showed them that we care and that our community is more interwoven than we may have realized. To the kids who participated, all 13 entries were winners and I express my deepest thanks and appreciation. Hope you had fun. To parents and the entire North Stafford community, thanks for showing such community spirit. Remember this is your FREE Community Website … please use it to the fullest by posting things on the site that affect the community. Please visit www.MyNorthStafford.com regularly and also tell your neighbors to visit, as we promise to keep bringing you more community events. In the “Why Are You Thankful?” essay contest our five finalists expressed the general feeling of our wonderful Stafford City. Who can forget Elena’s drawings and the pure richness of it all? How true did Frankelly put it when she thanked our Troops for keeping us safe? Also, James reminds us how bless we are with jobs and our proximity to DC. Matthew expresses how thankful he is for great schools and awesome teachers. As Claire puts it, “Stafford Rocks”, and she speaks about neighbors supporting and welcoming one another
I am sure glad I live in Stafford. Aren’t you?
This was a tightly voted contest and I am proud to announce that the WINNER isCLAIRE KOTWICKI a 3rd grader from St. Francis Catholic School. Congratulations! Claire and thanks to your Mom, your principal, teachers and school for all their help.
Claire receives her winning iPod from Dr. Barber, Principal St. Francis of Assisi.
