India Agee, daughter of Gregory and Schenell Agee of 23 Joplin Court has been accepted as a member of the 2004 Spirit of America National Honor Band for the 25th Anniversary Performing Tour of Europe. She will be representing the city of Stafford as an emissary to the people of Western Europe. She was selected on the basis of performance ability, maturity, character, and the ability to represent the best of American youth. India will join other musicians from across the United States, rehearse for five days, then fly to Europe for thirteen days of touring and performing. The Spirit of America National Honor Band will tour Luxembourg, Germany, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Austria and France. The band will perform for the diplomatic community as well as thousands of people at the Fourth of July celebration in Geneva, Switzerland hosted by the American Club of Geneva. This year will mark their twenty-first performance at this annual event. Spirit of America has also been invited to perform for the American Ambassador of Luxembourg. India is a member of the North Stafford High School band directed by Joe Tornello. She will be raising her tuition herself.
